In order to control the
Mellosoftron from other programs running on the
same system (like the Media Player or a MIDI
sequencer) you need a virtual MIDI port through
which they can communicate. Hubi's MIDI Loopback
Device is a virtual MIDI port for Windows 9x
created by Hubert Winkler.
After
downloading, unzip the archive into an empty
temporary directory and follow the instructions
in the file midlpbk.txt.
